South African golf courses - Fancourt golf course

With its mountains and water life the golf courses at Fancourt encaptures the natural beauty of the Garden Route. The two 18 hole, Gary Player designed, championship parkland golf courses are of world class standard. You will find that they meet the requirements of champions as well as providing for the needs of the improving golfer.

Fancourt is South Africa's only member of the prestigious " Great golf resorts of the world " association. The Fancourt Links hosted the Presidents Cup in 2002.

A feature of the Montaque course is its 17th hole. Gary Player, the course designer, modeled this hole on the famous 12th hole at Augustus. But this hole is even trickier. It has water from tee to green and the hole plays a club or two longer than the one at Augusta.
