South African Golf Courses - Southbroom Golf Course

The golf course at Southbroom is a tight and tough layout in harsh coastal bush. This interesting and picturesque par 71 course is one of the gems of the Kwazulu-Natal south coast.
Many of the tees at Southbroom provide spectacular views of the surf and the sea. Since recent renovations, you have water features coming into play at many of the holes. The newly constructed greens also increase the difficulty factor of the course.
One of the most talked about holes on the course is the par 3 fourth hole. Just a stone throw away from the thundering Indian Ocean, the hole forms part of the sand dunes of the area. At rare occasions dolphins and whales have been spotted from the fourth hole.
